Ryan Feeney has owned Indy Art Forge for over 20 years. Through various locations and partners, his business has continued to grow in both size and status. The shop is now one of the premier metal shops in the Midwest and has created projects for a number of high-end business and celebrities. His work has been featured on almost every local media station and publication in Indianapolis. Ryan has constructed numerous public and private works of art as well as artistically designed functional items including furniture, handrails, water-features, and oven hoods.
Ryan has been a firefighter in Indianapolis since 2000. He often takes part in the annual World Police and Fire Games, and has earned a gold medal twice. The World Record he set in 2007 in the Bench Press event still stands.
Ryan has been married since 1999 and has three children.
After graduating from Miami University of Ohio in 1996 and earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts as a Double Major of Graphic Design and Sculpture, Ryan took up a residency at Boyer Glass Works in Harbor Springs Michigan. After that he worked as an apprentice under sculptor Matt Berg working for Galyan's Trading Company. He began his metal working career at Schouten Metalcraft.
